Volunteer Opportunities
Front Desk
Answer phones, complete screening forms with people calling in to seek shelter, and greet visitors.
Childcare
Provide childcare while parents attend financial wellness or parenting classes offered on site.
Meals
Donate and serve a meal for our residents. This is typically done as a group volunteer opportunity. Lunch is served 11:30am-12:30pm and Dinner is served from 5pm-6pm daily. Click HERE to register for a meal service.
Cleaning & Organizing
Help clean and organize the shelter as needed.
Special Events
Host an event for families staying at Freedom House! Previous events include board game nights, birthday parties, arts & crafts, and outdoor activities.
Committees
Join one of our volunteer committees! Groups typically meet every 1-2 months. We currently have openings in the following committees:
- Marketing
- Mission Advancement
- Fund Development
Social Media/Marketing
Volunteer to help us craft posts on Facebook and LinkedIn to get our mission out in the community, engaging donors and volunteers.
